Consistent 16mpg towing 27ft/5k Baja boat loaded on mostly hwy w/some stops and hills in central TX. Can't complain at all vs. the mpgs w/a Dodge1500 gasser(8mpg) on the same route.

Last year pulling a 28ft Jayco Eagle 5th wheel I was getting 13.8 mpg. u.s.[9000 lbs]. We just purchased a 2008 Montana,36ft long and weighing in at about 12,000 lbs loaded and on our last trip averaged 14.4 mpg u.s. The Edge Easy was not installed on this trip. Our speed averaged was 60 mph & our milage is at 62000 KM [39000 miles].

Made a trip down to the Texas Coast (Galveston) back in July pulling a 28ft TT. I made note of mileage going down 11.6 mpg and return trip showed 12.5 mpg all hand calculated.

When empty ('03 3500) I get 20mpg on the freeway. When hauling smaller trailers I average 18mpg (maybe 2-3000lbs.) When I have the 40 ft 5th wheel on it is 12mpg (16,340lbs - total combined weight 23,750.)

I pull a 30' Flagstaff with a GVWR of 7700lbs...
I averaged 13.1mpg through the blue ridge mountains at about 60mph on straight runs...
The Banks Big Hoss Bundle really saved my fuel economy...

great mpg folks. You should hear the PSD folks over on RV.net whine when the Cummins owners report our mpgs. The first truck owner that hollars"liar"is always a PSD owner, especially the 6.0 folks.
My '03 2500 HO NV5600 3.73 towing my 11200 GVWR 5er averaged 12.5 mpg on our last trip through TX/NM/CO/UT/WY/MT. Empty mpgs will average 21.5+ on my 600 mile a week commute. All pencil figures and are averages and not just best tank mpgs. The Cummins inline 6 cyl diesels have always gave great mpgs compared to the compitition.
