Naahh! There are a few manufacturers out there that charge an exorbant amount of money for aluminum bumpers. Their products don't amount to a hill of beans however- they'd fall apart hitting a coyote. So....I designed my own and had a buddy put it together for me. I wanted something light, strong, and would keep the Hyundai's outa my way. A long process starting from a drawing on a piece of paper, but I got what I wanted out of the deal. I don't go looking to run into anything, but the OEM bumper will dent by just looking at it and roads to the farm and hunting camp are treelined, narrow, dark, and boast alot of wildlife. The truck is in the classified section for sale, but if I could, I'd like to keep the bumper and try to get Brent (buddy) to fit it to a 3rd gen - that's a whole other undertaking I think.
I appreciate the comments. I occasionally get some wild looks around the city at stop lights and such, too.

I thought the Hidden Hitch was a bolt on AFTER you drilled the frame. Every one that I've looked into said the 3rd gen Dodge needed drilling. What about that procrastinator?
Thanks for any help. I want to put on a Ranch Hand or Big Tex.

i put mine on and drilled no holes. mine was an early venture and a pain in the rear but it worked out. i can see how two holes would have been easier but look closely and you might not have to.
