just got my 04 2500 and thought it would have a factory harness for my prodigy, however i'm not sure what to look for... it has factory hitch and bumper hookup. i pulled the panel off that is under the steering wheel but dont see anything... now what? i really dont want to hard wire one....

Did you get the harness for Prodigy / Dodge like this one:

If you did then yes it is P&P if not you need to find the factory Dodge harness and splice it to the harness that came with the prodigy unit.

Note: Not all of the colors are the same read the wires and the manual for proper wiring..
