I own a 2001 Dodge 3/4 ton with factory power/heat mirrors. I would like to put OEM flip up mirrors from 2002 3/4 ton on my truck which I have been told will fit. Does anyone know if these mirrors are interchangable. 2001 offered a flip up mirror but it is manual. 2002 offered a flip with power and heat. I think they are the same but I would like to know if anyone has done it. They are pricey and if they dont fit I can't return them. thanks

There are instructions sonewhere here for the change. I think that you need to have the manual ones also????

I had the tow mirrors on my 01.5 - they would flip, but were not power.

I converted them to power / heated towing mirrors. It was a great addition and I am glad I did it.

It is not inexpensive, nor is it quick, but I am pleased with the results and would do it again.
