I was wondering the wieght limits. I have a 3500 dually ctd 4x4. It can carry 5,000 lbs, 500 lbs tongue wieght. With distribtion set up it can carry 12,000 lbs, 1,200 tongue wieght. Is this right?

probably, but fill out your sig so we know what year/make/model etc. they aren't all rated the same.

Correct, your receiver with a weight distributing hitch is rated for 12K and 1200 pounds of hitch weight.

 

Uh..ok...what year was your 3500 dually 4x4 manufactured then ? Cuz there is NO mention of it in the original post.

 

Good point. I presumed that it was a third gen. Prior years were lower rated.
