Driving lights aren't working on trailer...

I've hooked 3 different trailers up to my truck and the driving lights aren't working on any of them. They used to so I'm assuming it's a fuse? Can someone point me in the right direction on which fuse to look for? The brake lights and turn signals work fine, just the driving lights.

Thanks.

I'm not fully up to speed on all of the stuff on the 3rd gens, but don't the '06s have the TIPM (Totally Integrated Power Module) instead of fuses for the trailer lights? If so, I believe it requires a reset (possibly dealer) if it has been tripped.

Have you checked your plug at the back to see if you have power on the pin for the trailer lights?

Is the fuse for the trailer running lights or the trucks running lights? The trucks work. Can you tell me which one it is? Thanks.

Have you tried using a test light at the plug.

mine did the same thing, 05, under the hood is the fuse panel, number 33 is the trailor running lights. I checked it and it was blown. 20amp. fuse. I used a test light to check the power at the hook up and I have power there but the lights on the trailor still didn't work, just the running lights all others worked. Not sure if it's the trailor or somthing else with the truck. Gunna hook up to another trailor tonight to see whats up.

If your fuses are good, and no wiring problems, then AggieJustin is more than likely correct. My buddies 06 ws bad about needing resets, but Ive never done mine.

TIPM,been there it needs a reset. I think it can only be reset either 3 or 5 times, and then has to be replaced. about $300 I think. there is a reprogram boosting the current from 15 to 17.5. I had that done and haven't had any problems since. they blame it on faulty trailer wiring always.
