Have to remove the cup holder insert to expose some screws to remove the center part, take the part around the t-case shifter off, then there's some more hidden screws up inside. I wish I had a better memory for ya, but you just start peeling back layers, removing things. The key point is don't force anything in the process here, there are screws, two if i recall correctly that specifically keep that part your asking about. But again, the other parts (cupholder and bit around the tcase shifter need to go first. Plenty of room to get into 4LO and still be able to wrap your hand around the shift ****.
