Question Dodge oem brake controller connector

I have a 2007 Dodge Ram with the factory tow package. All the people I know have the wiring harness to plug a brake controller in installed from the factory. Mine did not I have the oem wiring harness but not the diagram. Can someone please give me the install diagram please. Dodge wants $225.00 to install ( all of 4 wires ). Thanks.

Mine didn't have the harness either. I bought the oem harness and I am pretty sure that I have the instructions in my glove box. PM me your email address and I'll send you them.

Camping World or any good RV dealer has a wiring harness with both ends on it for your brake controller. No diagram need and well worth the money

I have a new P3 and got the quick connect setup. I don't have the connection from the factory. The wire was put in my glove box but not connected. So I need the diagram to install the OEM connector to the wiring under the dash.

I would look behind the parking brake pedal bracket. You might find a Blue 4 pin connector that the harness from your P3 will plug into.
I too had the wiring harness in the glove box, but this is to plug into the connector at the firewall then be spliced into the controller harness. Since you bought the harness with the connector on it, you do not need to splice in this additional harness.
Good Luck
Jim

Thanks Jim. I will look there tommorrow. My step dad's is under the dash connected to the box next to the steering column. I hope that its there next to the parking break bracket. Would save alot of headacts. Thanks.

The blue connector for the brake controller should be there. On my 2004 I was sure it wasn't but finally found it behind the white electrical box located behind/above the emergency brake pedal near the firewall. Only a small corner of the blue plug was visable if you looked really hard.
