If you plan on putting it on the road, it will need a new roof. If you are handy, you can put a new EPDM roof on it yourself, but be prepared for some work. Everything comes off the roof (including the present roofing from the sounds of it) and that includes the hatches, AC unit(s) and the trim strips at front, back and along the sides that seal the roof. It works neat if you have a spot where you can pull the fiver alongside a roof and use that to set things on while working. YOu will also need a good helper and be prepared with tarps to cover it each night while working on it. It took me three days working mostly by myself to complete mine. Talk with a commercial roofer that does membrane roof systems if he will give you some tips as to materials such as type of glue, etc.
