deere nut

Do I need a special brake controller to handle a three axle trailer with brakes on each axle? I have a hanz lemmerman synchronizer that I've been using for a while on my two axle gooseneck wiht no problems but I think I remember reading some where that some brake controller can't handle three axles with brakes. Any truth to this? Whats the problem?

My tralier is a 34 foot Avion (1984 model)

Look on the tag on your controller. It should say how many brakes it can handle. Usually only the cheaper controllers are for up to 4 brakes.
