Check out these heavyweight tires !!!

HELLO !!!! Well I finally found some 12 & 14 ply (F & G rated) 15" trailer tires. I don't know of any good or bad reviews for this brand, but check out the weight ratings
I imagine you'd need a rim/valve stem to handle the increased pressure. That's my next search......basically I want a heavier duty tire for my 5er toyhauler without going to 16" rims & tires.

So which size and style are you getting and what are the prices? 85709 look like it'd fit my tilt-deck equipment trailer. My current ones are Triangle brand 7.50-15 load range G.

Can't help with the trailer tires but my Dad runs Hercules on his F350 SD. Very good tires.

Are your 15" wheels rated for those loads and air pressures?

I don't want to bust your bubble; but, Don't order those just yet.

They are LOW-BOY tires, meant to be used on two-piece split-rim wheels on heavy-equipment trailers.

Although they are 15", the bead is extremely thick and cannot be installed on a single-piece wheel.

Although the ratings are high, don't be fooled, those tires require a heavy tube and liner; that, coupled with the thickness of the tire itself, builds up tremendous heat, causing frequent catastrophic failures.

Also, multi-piece rims were outlawed on vehicles of American manufacture in 1978, due to their deadly nature of killing tire monkeys and bystanders.

A convenient loop-hole allows vehicles to be imported with the killer wheels.

You beat me to it. Very bad idea. Even if you did get them mounted then you would be stuck in the middle of nowhere looking for a tire shop that knows how to fix / dismount that heavy of a tire.

Goodyear used to make a ten ply 15” tire maybe that would be better ?

Les schwab has a 10 & 12 ply tire for trailer use in 15". I stuck with the 8 ply for mine to see how the tires would wear.

These are DOT beadlocks. Not many of them exist but there are a couple that are DOT.

These are the real thing, not the fake locks you see going down the road in those big goofy show trucks that never see dirt...

I have 2 piece beadlock wheels on my truck and am pretty sure they are legal. do you mean they can't sell a new car with 2 piece rims? I thought the H1 hummers had 2 piece wheels with a runflat thing inside the tire?

You beadlock guys are talking about horses of an entirely different color.

They are bolted together; therefore, there is not much likelyhood of them flying apart under pressure.

The KILLER wheels that I am referring to are the two, and three, piece split-ring type truck wheels.

The only thing that holds these together is a little lip in the rim.

All it takes is a little rust, or mis-alignment, to cause the rim to seperate with explosive force.

Many have been killed and maimed by multi-piece truck wheels.

We had a truck leave our shop, the ring blew off the rim, and went through a house.

Another time, one seperated and took out two gas-pumps.

We had one blow off, laying flat on the shop floor, and went through the roof like an artillery shell.

We had an employee roll under a dump-truck, on a creeper, to let down a hydraulic jack; when the tire contacted the ground, the ring blew off and wrapped around the springs, inches from his head, deafening him for several days.

I could go on and on about the dangers of these rims.

When I was a boy, my dad taught me about those deadly 2-piece rims, since they were used on aircraft landing gear (that was how we learned to wrench); fortuneately, I've never been around one since... they're like bombs without a timer!
