My thinking is, it is not very wise to buy a NEW trailer to turn around and sell it. Let someone else take the hit on a new unit. Buy a used one, you won't lose as much at resale time.

i don't blame you for not offering a discount on this one. Nice trailer--good buy

how high is it? are you in a big hurry to get it moved ?

Ah, Herb, I was just joking.

Heck, this thing IS selling, so I wouldn't rule out a discount. I have an offer just slightly less that what we are looking to get out of this trailer, a DTR guy who has been searching for a while now. Pretty much whatever it takes in the next 6.5 days.........

I'm not sure the height, over 6' inside, that much I know. It will make a nice trailer for someone, it's had a really easy life so far.

If you can't find a used one, you might want to look at:
www.trailershowroom.com
They make a good trailer at a good price and are decent to work with. I just bought a tilt bed from them. They are in the SE. If you are going to sell it when you get to the left coast I suspect that you will take less of a loss.
I think the high end trailers keep a higher percentage of resale value but these cost less initially but probably depreciate quicker.
Make your pick and take your chances............
Good luck and take care.

Is this your trailer? Nice looking rig, and I appreciate your advice. Have not found many used trailers in New England... maybe a road trip is in order

I had one of theirs, dang nice trailer for the money.....however,,, The trailer brakes weren't set up right and the axles were improperly alaigned. I traveled from NC to AZ and blew 2 tires enroute. Once I got to Tucson the guy at the rv shop i took it to said the rear axle was off center. It was 5K out the door...

I have a Cargo Express 26' V-nose w/ 5200lb axles. It has three sets of car tie downs and also has lots of E-Track for moving furniture and household goods. I'm not sure I'll be doing anymore side work so the trailer is going to be sold. Heck, I'll even throw in some dollies and moving equipment. I'm in Va and am not opposed to meeting somewhere in the middle if you are interested. I have at least one picture of it in my gallery. PM me if interested...

Here's a webshots picture of when it was new in 03... (Clear title too)
