Does anyone know of any camping / RV clubs in the Sacramento or Northern Cal. area. Just some people with families and like minded ideas to get together for group camping.

 

Go to www.IRV2.com, then to Forum, at the bottom of the page there are different regiions, click on the one you like and go from there. I do Florida and have been out with them a few times. They are a great group and family friendly. Good luck.

 

We belong to Thousand Trails and really enjoy it! We have been going to the preserves for over 25 years as my in-laws have been members forever. There are 3 TT preserves within about an hour of Sac and the Snowflower preserve is only a couple of hours away. These are great campgrounds with lots of family activities, you can usually find a "used" membership online or even directly from TT.
If you camp alot like we do, the yearly dues are considerably less than you would pay for the same number of nights in a public RV park.
