Safety related devices

Anything that deals with safety I am a true believer of getting the best. Not the good or the better but the best. I am with all the hydraulic over electric people as these systems are currently the best. For the money I spent I received the Max-Brake and necessary wiring all in the kit; not to mention a lot of piece of mind.

Would you consider getting marginal tires or okay brake pads for your Dodge CTD?

Southwest Wheel has next day shipping. Good luck on your choice-John
I got a MaxBrake along with my new Rockwood Ultralite which is approx 8500lbs with fresh water and all the "crap" my wife needs.

The MaxBrake was awesome... for about 250 miles of picking of the T/T, test driving, and setting up W/D hitch. Then I had just pulled out of driveway on first of July, went back to doublecheck all doors were locked on house. Got back in truck and the MaxBrake display was all weird characters. Unplugged unit and plugged it back in and the display was blank with the upper row lit and bottom row dark. Called MaxBrake folks and described what happened and they said it is a ribbon cable inside and would need to be returned to them for repair/replacement under warrenty. Fortunately, I had packed my old prodigy P2 just in case, and the cable to the MaxBrake was the same as Prodigy, so was able to leave with minimal delay.

I must reiterate, the MaxBrake was awesome before the display crapped out. And I will look forward to using it again when I get it back.
