I have a drawtite activator with no instructions I need help matching the activator with the factory supplied wiring harness that plugs in. The wire colors don't match up with the pigtails.

Go right to Drawtite and they will send you the instructions. They are on the web, just add a .com after their name.

 

I sell this brake controller at my shop.

Black - 12v Power
White - Ground
Blue - Trailer electrical brake feed
Red - Brake light signal

I can't remember the color dodges pigtails use off the top of my head though. Sorry.

 

I have awhite with red trace, blue with red trace, a green with black trace, and a solid blue no trace.They dont mach up in color to the brake drawtite controller.Im lost.

 

Now this is just jogging off of memory. Come monday i can look at the ones that i have in the shop and get you exactly what color does what.

White w/ Red Trace (should be a bigger gague wire) SHOULD be the 12v so this will go to black on the drawtite.
Blue w/ Red Trace i believe is the brake signal wire so it should go to the red wire on the brake control unit.
Green w/ black i'm pretty sure is the ground. So this goes to white on brake control.
Soild Blue is going to be trailer feed so blue on the brake control.

Like I said this is going off memory so i might have two colors backwards but I am pretty sure that is how it goes.
