i just installed my brake controller abd it does not seem to be working properly , when i hook up my trailer the green light comes on and when i hit the brake does not switch to red i tryed adjusting the setting and apply them manuaelly but, nothin seems to work should the green light come on all the time even with no trailer hook up? i checked the wiring evertthing appears ok, it is a vallery contoller on a 02 3500 with a a/t and help would be appreciated, thanks jr

 

On my truck the green light is on all the time even when the ignition is off but mine turns from green to red as i apply the brakes.kurt.

 

I am thinkin that my should do the same. so i going to look at my wiring again and she if i messed something up, thanks jr
