I did a search......about 30 times....seems that the power dodge tow mirrors offten available on e bay do not fit? the base needs to be taken off the non power earlier mirror?

Or does the 03 mirror infact work?

The shefnecker mirrors look nice but are not offered for 98's? They do offer 03 fitment though, can they fit a 98 as well as a 03 oem mirror then?

I d prefer to stay close to the 300$ area, but the marker lights etc on the shefnecker is pretty cool...and the reach is longer I think? so extra $$ might be ok.

What mirror has the longest reach?

 

I've got Powervision Mirrors for my truck and would not have anything else.

I went and got the Dodge tow mirror package with the new flip out style mirrors. You lose the power/heated feature but they are a good tow mirror and priced right. It's the same mirror as on the 02's
