I know, beat to death
Alright folks I know this has been beat to death but I've currently got a Westach Elec fp gauge and quite honestly I'm getting tired of wondering if it is reading right. I'm looking to put a mechanical gauge in and the question I have is if I just use a needle valve and not use isolator can I use plastic tubing all the way into the gauge and will the fuel have any detriminal affects on the tubing or is there a certain type of tubing I should be looking for.
Thanx

the little plastic line that come with the gauge is fuel conpadable. Some people wont use it ,they use steele braided line and some use rubber fuel line. It's what ever YOUR comfortable with. Just be sure to use a neddle value and barly open it
I've seen a few people take vaccum hose and slid over the plastic hose, to help protect it from rubbing... You can also get copper line.. its the same or about the same size as the plastic tubing.. I'd put vaccum hose over it, to keep any noise from vibration out... (My Steelbraid lines used to vibrate in the dash.. Untill I moved the inlet away from the pump a little.. and change supply lines to the pump...
