Is anyone transporting 4 car's

I'm thinking about getting some flip up ramp's so I can try to haul 4 car's. Only problem is my trailer is only 48'. I know most people have a 53' trailer. But I have to make do with what I have. You guy's think I can do it with mine. What up grade's did you do to your truck if any.

So, does anyone have flip up's. If so, where did you get them, and how many $$$. Pic's would be great. Thank's

Talked to a guy last week that hauls 5 cars on his truck. It was a Freightliner straight truck with a car hauler hydraulic system on it. He mentioned that he used to haul 3 on a trailer behind a Ford 350 but this setup he had for 5 years and he was making more $$$ with it. Might be time to upgrade??
He ran from Georgia somewhere to Florida usually. Keep the Dodge as a Sunday driver only. lol

Ask Haulin in Dixie. I think he had at least 50 something feet though.

They would have to be four small cars. Our trailer is 48' and it is tight with 3 larger vehicles. Take three makes a kit for flip outs that they sell on their website. The next trailer I buy will be 53'.

I'm going to scrap the idea. I did some measuring, and I think it would be too hard to get 4 car's small enough.

Four cars is commonly done around here. It is generaly with a 50 foot trailer and three foot flipouts on each end. IF you weld them or are longer than 50 foot you are not legal in Tennessee. The length limit in Tennessee is 50 foot from the kingpin to the end of the trailer. On a big rig they have 3 foot kingpin setting, on a car hauler they are generally 0 kingpin setting.

To carry four cars the deck space must be 56 feet. No matter how you do it you will be overlength, but it is gotten away with all the time. You are allowed four feet total overhang and the flipouts are overhang as well as the overhang of the cars.

He move to Alabama, we can pull a 57 foot trailer here.

I no longer pull the wedge trailer. I pull a six car double deck Kaufman. The key to making money is the number of cars, go for four, it will pay the bills.
