Anybody own Weekend Warrior TT Toy Hauler?
It is a good price so you should consider it. There is a lot of info about WW and their problems. Frame, Carlisle tires, sidewall delamination, countertops cracking, etc.
Go to www.glamisdunes.com and search WW. You will have many hours of reading.

I think you have to keep things in perspective here. Warrior's are far from perfect, but if you ever talk to OWNERS about some other brands, built here in Socal, you'll hear horror stories beyond belief. If you go to Glamis you'll see Warriors @ 20:1 versus other models, and you still hear less negative. Anyone that actually owns a Warrior will tell you that if you have any structural problems, they will stand behind it! And when your out of warranty with a "major" problem that's what really matters. Try to get that from Thor, Holiday Rambler, or any of the big ones. TexasCTD, I truly believe you'll be fine with Warrior. PM me if you need more detail.
i feel i owe everybody an apology. after repeated attempts to contact warrior i find that they are unreachable through any means offered. i've left numorous messages at X403 and nothing. they won't call me back and that, in itself would lead me to believe that perhaps they are no longer the leader. i still believe the trailer texas is looking at is a good deal but he will have trouble with factory support if needed. if i get any feedback from warrior i'll paste it up but i'me not really expecting any support at this time.
my fs 2600 is 1800# + dry!!!!! with water about 2300# i put my jeep in the back and it drops tongue to 1400 lbs
uh,,,yeah........I believe I have things in perspective. I've been a member of the glamis dunes board for a few years and have heard every complaint about WW there is. The lastest is their extended warranty isn't worth the paper it's written on. There are some complaints That WW will not cover the cracking countertop issue as reported by several members. I do have a Thor product and though it's not the best, I have had none of the issues as reported by WW owners. So...........for y'alls edification, there is some good reading over there regarding WW.
Well im uncertain what I should do about this now.
I did look at the Glamis dunes site and found a couple of threads mentioning the WW frame problems. Hardly what I would call "hours" of reading, but still concerning.
I have an opportunity to buy this amost pristine one owner (family owned) 2004 Weekend Warrior FS 2600 trailer. I have known this trailer all of it's life and have camped in it and pulled it several times. I was there when they took delivery from the original dealer. To my knowledge, and my family's, there is no frame or other problem with this particular trailer. If I don't buy, they will sell it to somebody....as I would expect them to do.
So do I pass and say "Thanks, but no thanks".
Or do I pay $12,000 and get a slightly used but in demand Toy Hauler that will fit my needs perfectly for RVing and ATVing???

BTW - you might want to look at the build date of yours. WW is famous for giving a model year up to 18 months forward of the build date. Your 2004 may have been built in 2002.
Yeah, that's what I've been hearing. Our trucks can handle it no problem, but have you had any issues with your hitch? 1800# and 2300# are well over the weight limit, and even with weight bars 1400# pushes the limit!

I'd buy it and keep an eye on the tongue. The first sign of bending have it reinforced. If it becomes too much hassle or whatever, sell it.
I think I might know who you are referring too!
I already feel like I depend on him so much though. And I don't possess the skills or talent to repay his generosity, except with more beer.
Buy it. It's a great deal. Just be prepared to do some upgrades and repairs in the future. There is hours of information on other boards (RV.net and glamisdunes to name a couple) for issues other than the frame bending going back 3-4 years.

It was built in July of 2003. 2004 model.

My hitch is fine, but I have contemplating upgrading to a class V hitch anyway. Im sure it would be a great idea. But that doesn't address the frame bending on the trailer....if it should happen. I guess I will get it and look at having it reinforced.
There are folks out there, possibly without malicious intent, that will jump on comments or isolated events and make them out to be prevalent or routine occurrences. Most of these opinions don't come from people who actually own or have experience with any of these products. If you can find a large portion of owners indicating a product problem, then you might consider giving their comments consideration. But people that like telling stories because they have a forum to do so...........refer to my original comment.
