Any custom installed brake controllers?

I am looking for a custom installed in-dash option for a brake controller. I really would like to mount it in the middle consol somewhere so my left leg isn't always rubbing on the unit...anyone with any pictures/ideas? thanks

Here is where I put mine, out of the way and easy to get to at the same time.

Quite a different space then when you have an auto versus 6spd. Putting it there you do have a nice view of it.

I'm so glad someone had a picture of how they did theirs!!!!!!!!!! I have an "07 and those damned "knee bolts", take up any free space I have when I pull my seat forward to drive, (I'm 5' 1" by the way) and I couldnt' see how anyone could have installed a brake box in the usual old place. I figured this was my last resort. Now mine has a not really a hole but a space up in the middle, figure that was for the brake control. Didn't you have a wiring harness and hook up behind that from the factory, mine does....

Mine is hooked up to the factory plug via the factory provided harness, there was enough cable to get it to the location that you see. If needed PM me and I will get more pictures.

mine is in the cubby where the seat heater controls would be. in my opinion, this is one of the best locations for a brake controller. im at work and dont have any pics, but other people have placed it in the same place and posted some...ill see what i can find

Thanks so much all! These ideas are all great, although I will stick with the spot behind my shifter, easier with that space there to feed the wiring harness through.

Thanks again for the picutes, explains so much easier!
