Aluminum Horse Trailer

Any ideas how I might be able to "brighten" up the exterior of my 1997 Elite Aluminum 3 Horse Slant? The finish has become dull and there are discolorations from water streaks over the years. If any ideas or remedies exist, could they be applied with the low pressure side applicator of a pressure washer?

To all, thanks in advance.

Yeah, find a location that offers truck washes for big rigs. They should have what they call a 'citrus acid wash'. That should do the job.

Ya acid wash will make it look brand new, just make sure you remove all the mats and stuff before you do it. My buddy owns a big pressure washer company and he does my truck every so often, that stuff is amazing.

There are mobile washers around too if you cant find a truck wash go to your local trailer dealership and see who they use.

Wash it? G*d put it there, he can take off. That's just a protective barrier against acid rain.

I suggest you buy some acid wash and mix it yourself. I do this to all my trailers and they look great after getting acid washed. truck does too. I've tried 2 different big rig truck washes and both times they have not come out as clean as when i do it myself. The acid is too diluted in the truck washes.
