Alaskan tow
Alaskan tow
I was watching National Geographic or something similar. They showed a 250,000 pound load being towed up to a remote part of Alaska. It was three big rigs. One in the front pulling trailer and then two more behind the trailer pushing it. All in a single file. All the trucks were specially fabricated for this tow. Tow truck had a "special" 600 hp motor. Didn't specify torque.
It was a show dedicated to the truckers that help assist the building of the Alaskan oil pipeline.

Up here in Fort McMurray where I work we see loads like that all the time for all of the Oilsands projects. Except they can weigh in at more than 1 million pounds and usually have 1 truck steering and 4 - 6 trucks pushing with what looks like hundreds of tires under the loads. I'm sure if these rigs had Cummins in them they'd only need 1, maybe 2
