Has anyone seen an air ride seat frame for the '03 and up trucks? I have seen air ride conversions where you can install an air ride setup with a new seat and the works but not just a frame. I hauled out west with a guy that had the factory dodge seat on an airbag lower frame. He bought the truck used so he didn't know where it came from. Does anybody know where to get this? Thanks for the help!

 

I have seen a few sites around, just google "air ride seat". I am now looking at a "Flexsteel" RV Captains Chair for my truck. This is by far the most comfortable seat I have ever driven in. It's like driving from a recliner, very good support & most supple leather I have seen on a seat. All I have to do now is get dimensions & see if I can stuff one in my truck.

 

Yeah I have found a few but nothing that would keep the factory seat!! I know what you mean I have seen a few that I think would be dangerous to have in the truck because it feels so nice!!!

Hey thanks, I had seen those before but those mount to a different seat! The frame mounts to a dodge floor but at the bottom it says which seat styles it fits (National Seating Sporster and Workhorse truck seats) which are seats that they sell?

I want one that is air ride frame that bolts to factory seat, I will keep looking they have to be out there somewhere!! but thanks again for the help!

 

Talk to Herb he modified his stock seat to air ride if I remember correctly.
