Air Ride Seat Installed !!

got my air ride seat installed today .took my son and i most of the day to do it as we bought one for a late model ford and had to do a lot of modifacations to get it to work'
going to have to do a few more adjustments yet--doesnt go back quite as far as it did and seems to set a tad higher---but man you talk about a smooth ride !! no more jarring when hitting bumps--just floats.
heading out for a 5500 mile trip Sun or Mon so will get a good chance to get the feel of it.

Me Too

I wanna see too. I don't mind a few modifications. heck I think if you had air ride front and rear seats, man that would be a killer set up. You have me wanting now. Already have air, just need this. Keep us updated, and please show us some pics.

should have taken pics before i put the seat back on ---i will get some around quick as i can.
Was supposed to leave this am for a AR CA delivery but truck is ailing. Tons of black smoke and lack of power when accelerating. Trying to figure out. disconected my edge and helped but i don't think the edge is bad i think the edge is just accentuating the problem
Am suspecting someting to do with turbo and not getting enough air ?

I heard the air seats were really nice, but they make you lean to the left.

I'd like to see those pics too.

Nice

That's a nice set up, I'd love to do that to my truck. Does the kit rise the seat higher up than stock?? I'm 6'4" and can't afford to be up too much higher due to the fact I'd bump my noggin more than I'd care for. I'm still really looking at doing this. I love the set up. Maybe something simplier on springs with a shock absorber (nothing big, something easy) Nice job though, how do they work? Keep your rear nice

just what little driving i have done so far it is great. heading out for calif tommorrow so will find out what it is like on a long trip.
Actually, i can lower the seat about two inches lower than stock and can raise it up proably 2 inches higner than stock.
There is a firestone air bag and a small shock built into the unit.
