I called them today and they told me that next week they will have a release for the 3rd gens. Around 200 bucks. Looks great only concern I have is with the wiring to the seat. Will it break with the constant movement of the seat?

Did you have to make any provisions for the integrated seat belt? And can you post the link or PM me to where I can get the air ride for my truck?

I'm thinking the integrated seat belts on the earlier Dodges' is the reason they won't make an air ride kit for them.

Finally got my air ride seat in and tested. Musta had that thing in and out 20 times. First time around it was too high. So I reworked the brackets, fiddled with this, fiddled with that and viola. Had a couple air leaks to fix. The new seat valve is leaking, so it will be replaced on Monday. I kept the oem regulator so I still have 6 way power and lumbar as well as the heated seats. Been a while since I drove a heavy truck so I forgot how nice an air ride truck is.

Congrats !!! I hope to get to mine this week. How bout some pics? i was hoping i could keep my power seats with the air ride. I mounted my air compresser in my tool box floor in the truck bed and have my air line and power run, now comes the "easy part"

I found on my 01 that the less air i put in the nicer it rides. PS: you did remember to attach the short nylon straps from the seat bottom to the floor
right? they are a saftey strap to prevent you going thru the ceiling.

Dunno how tall you are but I kept the power seats etc all intact but had to flatten the lower brackets (the ones that bolt to the floor) I redid them to lay flat on the floor, gaining about 1.5 inches of headroom. I used 2 pieces of 2x1/2x16" flat stock to make brackets between the stock seat and the air base. I did not get any nylon straps with my kit. The shock absorber prevents the base from rising quickly.
I mounted my compressor under the quad seat passenger side. I wanted it out of the weather (salt and crap) You definitely hear it running but not too loud. Wiring is all under the truck, wrapped out of the way. Relay for compressor is under the hood pass side. I grabbed power from the exhaust brake relay to power the compressor relay and ran a switch into the cab on the ground side of the relay so it will not run unless the truck is running and I have a manual shutoff. When I get the new seat switch in I will post some pics.

5'9" tall
when you "flattened out the floor mounts were you still able to use existing floor mount holes or did you have to put new holes thru the floor ?

You should be fine then. I am 5'10". Actually I cut the back rise off the bracket and then cut the front rise and installed the piece from the back rise (if you can follow that) So now the bracket is flat from the back to the front and then rises over the hump to bolt to the two front holes. I welded it in a jig and the holes lined up perfectly. Don't tighten anything until you have it in the truck. I didn't paint it or anything yet because I want to make sure it is good first.

I also drilled the rivets to remove the feet or legs from the stock seat base. You gotta watch the motors will hit the airbase. I shifted the seat back 1.5 inches and drilled new holes in the floor brackets so I have good movement back and forth. I then reused the right front mount for the console (fit without cutting) but the back I had to fab a bracket to bolt onto the seat belt bracket. National wanted 50 bucks for brackets for the console. Check your pm for pics.
