2 whl drive low

Does anybody have the 2 whl drive low kit that Bob Vehoef makes or an email address for him
sounds like a handy thing to have when backing the trailor around

convert your 4x4 to manual locking front hubs and dont lock them... I know a couple people who do that to give a nice slow, powerful gear for parking a trailer.

That is a little to pricey for me just to park the trailer I heard about $1.600.00

Cheaper solution

Posi lock 4x4 system, just shift into low and dont engage the cable, costs about 220 dollars shipped to ur door and provides that option, im savin up for it as we speak!

Or a low range switch for a road ranger, teed to the vacuum line. With it open, no 4wd, with it closed 4wd.

HID, can you elaborate on this for those of us who have no idea what you're talking about .....road ranger ? Where would you get one of these things? How much are they?

None of what's been mentioned would work in the 2003 owned by the initial poster.

No CAD on the front axle.

Pretty much the only way to acheive this is locking hubs.
Unless there's a transfer case modification to get the low gear without powering the front driveshaft.
