'06 Prodigy Harness

I'm finally picking up my 3500 tomorrow night. Now, I get to install several goodies. One is the trailer brake controller. I've been to tekonsha's web site & they only list to '04. I've seen one site that says PN 3020 fits '96-'06.

Anyone with an '06 and Prodigy have the part number for the harness?

TIA

Tony

If you use the supplied brake controller harness that comes with your truck, you will have to splice the supplied harness to your prodigy.

I ordered my prodigy from "http://www.pplmotorhomes.com/parts/rv-hitches-tow-bars-dollys-1.htm#Brake%20Controls-%20Tekonsha%20Accessories" and elected to purchase the dodge wire harness that plugs directly to prodigy and blue connecter under dash (left side of break pedal) Part number 96-8327 is what I am using on my 06.
Hope this helps..

well, I realize that.....

I pulled the brake controller from my F150 & had to leave the prodigy connector in the truck because of other wiring with it.

I'm looking for the pigtail to plug directly from the controller to the truck's harness.

Why wire it up when you can buy a harness that eliminates any potential problems with crimping, miswiring, reading the manual, etc?

No worries. They need to update their site. The Prodigy for the 04 Dodge and harness they work just fine on the 06 Dodge

Campin World will have the correct Dodge wiring harness. Your local RV dealer should also have it. I think it's the same for all the dodges built after 02.

I took the pigtail the factory gives you & matched it up yesterday: 3020P is the right part number.

Thanks for the help, fellas!
