There is a pull tomorrow night at the Wilson county fair, and one on September 3'rd at the Robertson county fair. Wilson co. starts at 7. The fair pull in Springfield is at 7 as well, but if you are gonna pull be there by 5:30 - 6.

They had a good pull out there in Lynnville on the 12th. Not sure how many trucks pulled, 10, 12, 15....???? They had stock, street and open classes. The most consistent guy was a red gm from dickson. Seems he did 27? in the stock, 28? in the street and 29? in the open class. Hats off to Chase D and Chase M. Seems both those guys put in triple disc cluthes and were "getting used to them". With what was going on they Chase D got 1st(327ft) and Chase M got 2nd(319ft) I'm thinking they both could have kept going except Chase D blew a turbo hose right at the 327 mark and Chase M appeared to shut it down at the 319 mark.

I got some video of Chase and Chase pulling, both runs actually. Gonna try and get them on the youtube.

Played around with my truck last Thursday night and put some new injectors and dv's in and took it down the road and didn't get through all 5 gears one time after the motor got some heat in it and it started makin a noise. Thought it was jus a blown head gasket. Pulled it back to the shop and took the valve covers off. No bent push rods or anything. It was having troble cranking but it would crank and run. Pulled the head off Friday morning. Head gasket was fine. A pice of the ceramic that the grid heater sets in had came out. the bottom of the head on #5 and the tops of #5 and 6 pistons have tiny pieces of ceramic beat or melted into the them. The cylinder walls on 5 and 6 are scared up very badly. Also has a bent intake valve on #5. So gotta have a motor and stick this on in the barn to see if we can fix any of it later. I'll try and post pics when i get some. It kinda sucks a lil bit. Thats wat I been up to. lol

Why you got to have a new motor Chris, just sleeve #5 and #6, re-ring it and head gasket, new valve and go on your way. Much cheaper than an engine, even a used one. I can call a buddy on monday and see how much to sleeve those two back holes, probably $100 a piece for sleeves and I'd have to get with him on $$. He's done a blue million of them. Let me know or give me a call if you need to. Probably get out cheaper than a grand fixin what ya got.
