I'll be pullin late nights in Nashville this week over off Demonbreun ave. Monday night I'll be there and thinking that Tuesday night I'll be there to put in this I beam support for the floor...it may carry over into Wednesday, not to sure I know my wallet would not mind if it did but there won't be any lolly gagging around. Gotta drag half the worlds tools up there though!!

Good luck with the jobs dodgeguy. I know how you feel havin to drag all your tools. Thats how I am if i'm workin on something after work. Have to make 2 or 3 trips to the truck carrying tools out.
I got to see what the little bitty kdp can do to a front cover. Went up to a friends house yesterday afternoon and helped pull the head and acces. off the front of the truck. The dowl pin took a chunk about an inch and half long out of the spacer( the piece that the front cover bolts to, dont know exactly what its called). Good news is that it didn't get any gears on its way out!
Then we put a 4inch Skyjacker lift on a 03 F250. That was my first lift to help put on. Its really not nearly as hard as I thought it would be. Truck looked good after we got done. I managed to get in early this time. 2am lol

Well, got step one done on the jobs to do list. Now I'm waitin for the 15th to start doing the stairs. Then after that it's on to a handrail inside. After that I just may get ahold of that guy to do an oil pan gasket on a 4x4 dodge gasser!
I broke down and bought a part for my truck the other day. My clutch has been acting up. Sitting at a stop light with clutch pushed in and then the truck starts to lug and move forward, then it won't come out of gear. Or while backing a trailer it does the same thing and you can't stop it until it quits or you shut her off. So I called Southbend the other day and ordered their hydrualic master/slave cylinder kit. Found myself extremely chapped the last two nights while backing up and cussing Dodge for their 100,000 mile master and slave cylinder combo. Should have taken it off my 250,000 mile saturn, the one with the original clutch and original master and slave cylinder.
Hopefully this $270 will last longer than 100,000 miles, what happened to good ol' fashioned clutch linkage? Had a 68' Ford that never gave me a days trouble with the mechanical linkage. I guess that ain't "high tech" enough, reliability has nothing to do with anything today.
Don't get me wrong, still love my Dodge, still love my truck. Told her last night we're slowing working on getting all the cheap garbage off that Dodge put on and upgrade, you know like clutch master/slave cylinder, door speakers that work when they want to or maybe it's the radio??? Don't know figured the best way was to replace the radio, the speakers and run all new wires so as to eliminate the manufacturer from the equation. Not to mention the rear tire problem....oh, that's from the operator not the manufacturer!!

On a lighter note, cleaned out my yard a bit today. Got rid of my 94 Buick rather suddenly. That's good, need some tires.
Now, watch this, I thought this was funny.....

Hey fellas. Just thought I would extend an invite to any that might want to come. Mid-Tenn TDR is having a meet at Cedar City Diesel February 23rd starting at 12:00. Be a good time to meet a few people, check out CCD, look at some other trucks, and maybe learn something new. CCD is in Lebanon very close to the fairgrounds. Let me know if you need directions.

If I ain't covered up with work that saturday I'll try and make it out. Which exit is that? Is it the main one(238) into downtown Lebanon?
If you want go ahead and start a thread on it so the folks can see it, just put down the details.

Didn't know how the "powers that be" would feel about promoting a competing website.
Here's some pretty simple directions:
I-40 to exit 239-B. Merge onto highway 70 west. (You'll actually be headed north) Go past the fairgrounds and turn right at the traffic light onto Tennessee Blvd. CCD is a little over a 1/4 mile on the right.

Tennessee Blvd thats the one with the Bank of the South on one corner and IMI concrete joint is past the 4 way stop down on the left? I know that road, we had some equipment out there and everything we sent out there looked like it had been through a war when it got back and had service calls out there at least once a week.....to fix something else they destroyed, like the smashed cab...
You got it. That is the intersection with Hwy. 231. If you were coming from the interstate, take a right on TN Blvd. and follow it until you see the fairgrounds. Cedar City Diesel will be on the right.
Well I got my transmission out tonight. Couldn't tell anything for sure. But then I've never seen the inside of a 5spd before either. Gonna made a few calls tomorrow and see. Got my transmission that was suppose to go in the pull truck but not so positive about that now.
