Shawn I picked up a welder and oxy/acc tourch last night... we're gonna have to find a time when you can come visit!

 

Hey Mark sounds great. Did you get what you were looking for? I had torches and tanks but I'd say you were probably wanting those too. Just let me know what time your looking at wanting to do it and I'll see where my schedule has me and how it'll work out. I may have to see when my wife if off on saturday again so she can handle the kids. Hope this ain't another 3am project!!!

The meet was good there were 4 of us there, KVD, Deereguy and TNLonewolf and we sat out in the parking lot talking for about 30 minutes and went in and ate, talked for awhile after eating, my daughter said, "they talked for like 2 hours after they ate!" and then we talked out in the parking lot again after until children started saying they needed to use the restroom......so off to Mc D's we went and then home. Topped off with some 80/20 bio near there and got home around 7pm.

I had a good time just talking with you guys. Maybe we'll have something at the end of January or beginning of February to kinda prep for the dyno and make some plans about that, actually lets plan on that, say around the 3rd week of January? You guys up for that? Need as many people to be there so we can start getting numbers on who's gonna be at the dyno.

Ok, time for a new thread.......maybe a bit early, but lets get the ball rolling.

well, i've got 4 right now, but wasn't able to attend. no first gens in the crowd that was there.

Shawn, I sure hope this wouldn't be a 3AM project, and I think it was more like 6am til i got home, lol, oops, oh well. my wife still yells at me for that. I am gonna try to do the wiring for the welder today, but we'll see.

 

Hey guys! Im a newbie to the diesel world and to DTR. Unfortunately I'm located in Memphrica! Ya'll appear to be from the Nashville area. Its nice up there! Anyways, I'm wanting to try and meet with yall at the next MEET and represent the 1st gen's. Have yall got any info about the next meet and is there anything I need/can do to help out, do I have to be a member of the chapter? Thanks!

Nothin' yet on our next meet.....it's gonna be cold and I don't have a big enough shop to gather in and the one I do have seems to get smaller everyday. We'll wait til after Christmas and New Years to start talking about a pre-dyno day meet.

 

A wrenchin day in january would be fine with me. I jus have to find me a truck between now and then. lol

Just wanted to say Happy New Year to everyone. Was playing around on here and found out about the dyno day and I am stoked! I am new to the diesel world but I love my 1 ton! Thinking about stacking a Smarty with my TST, any feedback would be greatly appreciated! Looking forward to meeting you guys.

Does anyone know where I can get my injectors balanced? I'm trying to locate a bad shudder I have.

 

I'd suggest Taylor Diesel on Elm Hill Pike. They're on the Fessler's lane side of the railroad tracks.

A buddy of mine has a TST PM3 and Smarty stacked, and it runs awesome!!!! I mean hold on! I just finished putting in a set of Mach 4's tis evening, and it is indescribable. That truck is like a rocket ship. You can peg the pyro in third, boost tops out at 37 psi, and you black out the road behind you.
