Are you saying the thread got removed? I guess I didn't read it last night. I guess it must have gotten ugly yesterday afternoon then. Oh well I enjoyed it while it was up.

The thread is gone because it failed to stay within the rules of the site. Once that happens, it's removed. As much as I loved those lines, and some of the links, it doesn't matter.
I'm not sure which moderator removed it but I support their decision fully, and the thread will not be making another public appearance here.

i posted on it quite a few times. Its one of the best movies ever, but it has to many curse words in it. i really didnt notice all of them till i started quoting lines. every sentence has a bunch of * in them. Im probley why it got removed, so i just want to apologize. Sorry members and moderaters i should have known better.

Way back whenever the movie came out I was about 18-19 or so and thought it was the funniest thing I had ever seen (still do). So without using my brain I told Mama how funny it was and how Jackie Gleason was in it, and how funny he is, and how much she liked Jackie Gleason (from 1960's TV), and how she ought to go see it. So between church services she and a few other little old ladies go see it. Umm. she was not pleased.

When a moderator or admin sees a questionable thread, he or she moves it there. If the admin team decides it's OK it gets moved back to where it came from. In this case it's staying there.
