Thread date in title

I don't know if this has been requested already, but I think it would be helpful to be able to see the date of the first thread under the title. Sometimes it's helpful to know if I've already seen that particular thread by seeing if it is a week or so old, versus something that someone just posted today.

I've already seen the suggestion of seeing the first few lines of the original thread when moving the mouse over the title, which I also agree is a great feature.

Just a thought...

(BTW...keep up the great work in making this one of the best sites on the net!)

Putting the date of the origination would entail some serious coding in the templates. This is something Jelsoft is getting away from.

As for the mouseover, I agree, I love the feature, but it's already been stated it will not make a comeback.

Tom is right. Having the date on there like that would cause a lot of db queries when opening the threads. and it is true, the mouseover feature is not coming back.

i put my name on the bottom of my post so everyone knows who i am, also if i leave my account open and someone posts under me hopefully people will realize its not me. i also like being able to use the search for my name so i can read over some of the threads i post on. why is it that sometimes they are all over the place and only a few recent ones make the list and others dont even appear?
