Remote log out?

Is there a way to remote log out? As in, I used DTR on a computer someplace and forget to log out, and then want to log out after I'm 300 miles away and realize my buddies could really screw with me?

I don't think that the "log out" button works for any computers other than the one you're on at the moment, does it?

No only on the one you are presently on......

Reading through your cornucopia of posts, I have a sneaking suspicion that you have been logged out remotely for years

I usually just leave it as I know I will be spraying it again with my afternoon water I do like the little colored dots effect the wet drops make on the screen

I use the same method, the coffee from the morning gets washed off by water in the evening. If I don't find something funny, I read a few of Beagle's old posts...

You are correct. If you leave a machine logged in to the site, it will remain so until you log out on that machine.

So nobody's ever had a problem with this before? Or is this how we can explain Tyler?

We think that we're probably in 5 different states at this very moment. Our confusions hurts our noggins...

Our noggins as well.

Never been a problem for me. I check DTR all the time at my F-I-L's house and never log out... Does closing the browser suffice?

Depends.. If you check the "remember me" box, a cookie is saved to your PC that allows you to go straight into the forums... Even after you've closed the browser.

If you leave the box unchecked, shutting down the browser usually requires you to log into the site next time you fire it up.

I know this is a little late on the draw , but i just figured this out the other day , Changing your password will make you "logged off" on any comptuer , even with a saved cookie , i recently changed my password , and i had to re-sign in on all 3 computers that i have access to , and remain signed in on.

Now how did I get dragged into this. So I'm logged in permanently at home and at school and at my parents house.
