Quick reply E-mail notification? automatic?
I dont understand how the new format works with the automatic E-mail notification. On the old format you had to choose whether or not you wanted to see any replys after your own but now the setup is automatic? And if you reply using the quick reply are you bypassing the automatic notification? When I would reply to topics before I would always get notified on my e-mail for other replys but now I hardly ever get one and I cant remember if I used the quick reply or the regular reply. So could you explain to me how it works or what I'm doing wrong? It makes it difficult to remember who you were talking to on what topic. Thanks
Ok, I'm really sorry for saying this, and I promise that I'm not trying to be a jerk here, but I have answered these questions so much over the past couple of weeks. If you click on the forum faq and read through it, it'll explain how email notification works. Guys, if you have a question or don't know how to do something first, please read through the forum faq before posting your question.

Thanks Jack for the reply and I have read the FAQ but sorry it still doesnt answer my question. I to am not trying to be a jerk either and I'm sure you have to answer questions all day long. So I will ask again if you dont mind. If I reply with the quick reply I dont see where you have any of those options stated on the FAQ. Does this mean you cant get a notification with the quick reply? Sorry to bother again, and the new site looks GREAT!
KATOOM, my experience has been, if I want an e-mail notification I use the blue "Reply" button at the bottom of the last post on the thread. If I don't, I use the "quick reply" space. So, I think that your supposition is correct.

To put it simply,,
If you reply to a thread using the "Quick Reply" you will not have e-mail notifications.
You have to click on the "Reply" button to get notifications.
Another way to get notification, is to click on the "Subscribe to this thread" after, or before using the "Quick Reply" Feature.
