Hi All,
I have been trying to post a picture with my profile and can't seem to get the job done. ??? Is there a trick to this or is it just that "you have to be smarter than the computer"?

Ya gotta do like I do.
Consult your local computer expert......my neighbor's 8 yr old kid.

Try puttin' [ img ] in front of the pic link and [ /img ] in behind.
Leave out the spaces between the brackets.

Re:Photo's
If you want it in your 'profile,' I believe you will need to upload it to the gallery (or your own website) first. Then in your profile where it says: "I have my own pic:" put a check in the box and type in the URL to the pic.
example of mine:

If you want it in your signature, follow Ed's instructions! ;D
Hi Ed,
Thanks for the reply, but do you mean to strike out the http// while you are puttin' the [ ] in? By doing the bracketts with the "img" in them, is this telling the computer to transfer the image from the desktop? I scanned the pic and placed it on my desktop and then tried to transfer it to DTR profile. Also, do you know if we can copy & paste the pic?????
Thanks Again
Grampaw Bill

Re:Photo's
Try building an album and uploading the pics into the member photos section at the top of this page, then link to it.
That's what I did.
Believe me...if I can figure it out anyone can.
.
Post back if there's a problem and one of these "computer literate" folks will give us a hand figuring it out. ;D
As a plus, we're doing a "Truck of the Month" now and the winner is picked from the Member's Photos section.

Re:Photo's
creating an album is easy:
click on "members photos"
scroll down to the "create new album" section
give it a "title" & "description"
hit the "create album" button
uploading a picture
click on "upload picture"
next to "album" select your album name
click "browse" to select the picture from your hard drive
give it a "title" & "description"
click "add picture"
Repeat "uploading a picture" section for each pic... ;D
ohhh yeah, you'll end up with something like this: (right click on the pic and check it's properties)

you can link that to your signature with the [img] or use the http:// in your profile like my above example... ;D Have fun!

Re:Photo's
hmmmmmmm deja-vu ;D
It's just like adding a link just add "img" and "/img" in the brackets before and after, instead of "url" and "/url".
edit: OOOps are you talking about creating an album?
