Is there any reason I just got locked out until I changed my password?

Your password is 180 days old, and has therefore expired.

Please change your password using this page

Jim, if that didn't come from here, it likely was a spoofed page stealing your password.

1. You have malware on your computer.
2. Password, both old and new, now compromised.

Not much mischief to do here, but if you use the same password for anything serious, it's now been disclosed.

It's legit.
I sent an Email to IB this morning when I saw that message.
I got a reply from Robb stating this is in response to the 'attacks'.

I first tried to reenter my same password but it said I could not use the same password that I have for the last 360 days.

I hope I don't have to start changing my password every couple of months now.

It looked legit to me because I could not log into DTR from any computer including my iPod or my iPad.

Thanks Jim

And what are all of the advertisement videos in the post?
Strange, now the advertisements are gone, I had a car video playing inside my first post and then there was a blank post with only a car add playing??

But why did it happen,

Why do we have to have to change it every few months, it's not like this government or anything, my bank doesn't even require me to change my password.

Actually, the malicious aspect of the internet is getting so active that even the script kiddies outrun the virus scanners by a day or so. Sophistigated intrusions have been in place for months before detection. You could bet that anywhere actual honest opinion is expressed is under target from various governments. Some openly (facebook) and others more occult.

I think because IB has had quite a few attempted intrusions on some of their other sites and they're trying to head it off before it happens here.
