Nope. Not enough traffic to justify one. In addition, we like to keep the amount of forums on our site small so people don't have to sift through 25-30 forums to get the information they need.

I vote for a video section.

(Downloadable videos only, too. )

Or maybe a video gallery type of deal? Don't know what the logistics would be like on that one, though. We're running lag free as it is, don't think it'd be wise to bust it up.

What kind of server do you have DTR on, by the way?

Sorry. Was starving, and had just sat down with my food.

I'm all better now...

DTR runs on 3 servers. The main forum and much of the static stuff runs on a dell 2850 dual proc Xeon with 4GB RAM, RAID 5 etc etc. Email and firewalling runs on a pizza box single 1.6 ghz generic rack mount server and the banner ads run on a dual processor generic rack mount machine. The database is running on the 2850 but based on the growth, we'll have to move that to its own machine in a year or so. We're averaging about 1200-1400 posts per day now and about 30-40 new user registrations per day. We hit almost 40 million hits last month so the site is doing well in terms of usage etc.
