I passed 10 and the profile still says Junior Member. Are you saying I have to START more than 10 threads?
Can I get credit for my other diesel forums?
What happens when you pass 1,000 posts?

Posts to the "Other" forum don't count toward your member status, or your post count.

When you post a comment in the photo gallery, it adds on to your post count but does not contribute to your status.

I meant the other diesel websites where I post or posted.
I usually don't read the "other" forum unless a search leads me there.

OK OK OK I get the point. I have to earn my degree over here.
I'm just wondering what constitutes a post. Replying to a thread or actually starting a thread?
My number is over 10, but I'm still labeled Junior.

Replying will move your post count unless it was a thread in the "other" forum. If you replied to any threads in there they would not work towards your "status"

Perhaps Jack has changed the numbers required. I dont know. I pulled these numbers from an older post. They could be dated now.

Dont worry about your status too much, all members are valued here at DTR regardless of your member tittle.

I'll bet you tell all the juniors that

Rich is right, you can always feel welcome here. After about two weeks you'll forget all about status and post counts...

Thats because your attention will be focused on the dwindling bank account!

Been there, done that. Translation: bombed it, broke it, repaired it.
The bombing cost less than $500 for gauges, plate, GSK, etc.
The repairs cost over $4,000 for trany, head gasket, grill, tires, etc.

I was only rattling the cup on the post count. I'll get there on my own merit.
edit: 30 appears to be the magic number to lose the "Junior". No WC=0 posts either.

Rookies...........
"Rookie"? Only to posting on DTR. A handful of regulars know me.
I only posted over here to promote area get togethers.
I finally decided to free up $35 per year and put it to other uses.

I can't believe this thread is still going on! I was just excited about not being a "junior anymore! But what would you expect from a rookie Geico!
