Just a thought

Just a thought, why not add "how to upload pics", and other related questions to FAQ's. It would probably aid newcomers a lot quicker

Or maybe even have a newbie Forum. Hmmmm....Just a thought

I thought I heard an echo in here,,,,,,,,
Just kidding Tom,

Actually, there is a help link on the upload photos page that explains the process. It gives you this info in a pop-up window.

Uploading Photos

Uploading a Photo is accomplished thru the use of this form. By filling in the variables, you are telling PhotoPost which photo you wish to upload and information about the photo.

Choose a cateogry - select the most appropriate place for your photo using the drop down list of available categories.

Photo to upload - using the Browser button, select the file on your system you wish to upload (be sure that the file does not exceed size limitations)

Disk space remaining for your account - This tells you how much disk space you have left for uploads

On the next page you will be prompted to enter the following information for each image you uploaded:

Enter a title for the photo - This is a short description of the photo

Keywords - enter up to 10 descriptive terms people can use to search for your image

Photo Description - This area provides for a more detailed description of the photo

Do you want to be notified by email when users post replies? Check this box if you would like an email whenever someone posts a comment to your photo.

Supported image types include: JPG, GIF and PNG.
Support multimedia type (if enabled): MPG, AVI, ASF, WMF, MOV

Not a bad idea Tom. I think all Newbies should have to fill out signatures within 5 posts. It gets tiring asking what truck they have when they need help.

I'm getting tired of training newbies!

I'm kidding of course.

Allright, you got me on the help thing
I still think it would be cool to have a newbie area though

Oh yea, and thanks to you and Geico for posting. I was starting to get worried there for a minute

I like the idea Tom, we will kick it around a little bit and see what shakes out

Sorry for the delayed response, trying to do taxes on two businesses and keep up with emails and phone calls at the same time. I am losing the battle at the moment

No, but I'm pretty sure you (or Jack) could count BigBlue as a dependant.

BTW,
I can't believe Top pays taxes. I thought they just fired over the heads of them there "revinoours" up there in the mountains to scare 'em away.
