Error Message following email link

I have subscribed to a thread. When I get an email informing me of another post in that thread I get this:
Jaxom, you do not have permission to access this page. This could be due to one of several reasons:
  1. Your user account may not have sufficient privileges to access this page. Are you trying to edit someone else's post, access administrative features or some other privileged system?
  2. If you are trying to post, the administrator may have disabled your account, or it may be awaiting activation.
When I search for the thread, find it and then click on it I get the same message.
This thread also does not show up in my list of subscribed threads.

Anybody know what's going on here? I have recently deleted all my cookies, about a week ago. Using Firefox 3.0.11

More than likely it was a thread that was deleted. What was the thread about?

Nope, we moved that one to the hole. It was turning into a 'lets swap/trade' thread, and we don't like that on the open forums.

When you say "the hole", do you mean it got deleted?
Or did it merely get moved?
