About a year ago DTR tried to "reach out" to the undertrucked masses. Lasted about a month, nothing but crickets in the Ford and GM forums. So management put things back the way they were.

I would not call myself rich, but I've paid quite a bit of money to keep the site running. The sponsors help some, but by no means are they the sole provider of cash to the site. I was able to get free bandwidth for a year or so, but that has gone away so it's a bit more expensive to run then it used to be.

Yes, but have you sent cash? There's a section for donations in the online store, everybody who uses this site ought to kick a few bucks in from time to time. I don't want to see this become a subscriber site like the "other" one.

I agree. But if people are not willing to "put their money where their mouth is" and it affects the site by not being able to offer needed or wanted features or upgrades, I would support a mandatory subscription cost.

How many out there subscribe to several magazines and the newspaper? I would gladly pay a subscription price to continue to grow this site.

Voluntary contributions are great, and I have sent mine in, but if the site suffers from lack of support, bring on the subscription IMO.

How about 10% of the KBB retail value of your current truck?

Then i'd get the decal pretty cheap It would be nice to get decals to advertize the site, but some of us make too much smoke for people to see them.

He indeed is, in many ways a rich man.

He has a lovely wife, beautiful children and a faithful dog. Not to mention he has the luxury of driving a CTD

Yes sir, I would say he is a rich man.

In that respect, many of us are rich.
