Combing two threads
Hey Jack,
There are two threads about the "03, 04, 05" water in the fuel tank. I started a thread called "Water in the Fuel of 03, 04, 05?" Can we combine "Water in the Fue:l with mine, or visa versa? What do you suggest? Welder has added some GREAT pictures of the problem.
Looks like it should lead to a recall ASAP. It appears an open fitting on top of the 03, 04, 05 fuel tanks will allow water into the fuel tank. It is a fitting left open due to DC using the same fuel tank in gassers and diesels.
I have not substantiaed any of the information, but Welder has had his truck into the dealer for the correction and has stated he has contacted DC STAR.
