Then how about you come on down and install it? You can use a spell checker on just about any word processing program before you post and by the looks of your posts, I would suggest learning how to use one, and fast.

It's a site, not a sight; and it's "writing" not "wrighting"

Also, if you use Firefox, it has a built in spell checker.

Good Lord!

I've come to realize that the statistic identifying 1 out of 7 people in America as functionally illiterate can't possibly be accurate...

I'd hazard a guess at ~ 4.9:1 ratio

what if we send out our hard earned cash (citerfied check)and get nothing or not what we where told it was?
we need a score like ebay...good or bad....
ya with me now?
I sent a guy a certified check and he never sent me the item. Oh well, it was a gamble I took. That's the only time I haven't received a product. If someone doesn’t PM you back, try someone else.

If the gamble isn’t worth it, try Ebay…or Craigs List.

Good luck

PS: Being sarcastic ( like you were in your previous posts) wont get you anywhere. Good luck!

Very cute discussion from both sides. This really portrays a positive attitude on the site doesn't it?

There's nothing cute about the public education system in America.

I'm sure a few of the cheerleaders are. And some of the 4H animals. In some of the smaller schools those may even be the same

I agree completely about the schools. Maybe we should have some grammar and spelling lessons on DTR.

And about sellers not responding, I would take that as one of the indicators not to send that individual a check in hopes of reciving parts.

In case you haven't noticed...I asked him TWICE what browser he is using so I can help him get set up with a spell check system. I don't know how we can be any more positive than that.

Well I think the classifieds work great. I posted 2 items about 6 weeks ago and had them both sold within 4 weeks. Some guys picked them up locally and paid cash for them. I appreciate this feature (free classifieds) on the website. Thanks, Jack and Larry.
Now I marked them both as sold. Do I remove them somehow or does an admin finally remove them?

DOOH! Sorry for the dumb question. I went back and looked closer and found the delete feature under the edit part. I removed them myself. Thanks again guys for a great feature.

Mike,

By marking them sold the system will delete them automatically for you as well
it just takes a day or two before it deletes them.

OK Top. Thanks for the info. The other good part about selling the stuff and changing the money face to face was I got to meet a couple of DTR members and talk trucks for a while.
