how do i use my own aviator every time i try to use a custom aviator it says that i may not upload animated images but i see that other people are doing it

 

It should work fine as long as it meets the size requirements and is a .gif file.

Check his permissions... It could be Jack has set a limit on how many posts must be in place before animated avatars can be used. The permissions are under usergroups.

 

no matter how small the file is i get the same message and the last on i tried was only 60 x 60 and 8k and it still said that i am not allowed to upload animated images

 

I had the same problem...I finally gave up on the animated avatar

By the looks of it, the uploading of animated avatars for registered users has been turned off and I'm sure that Jack had his reason for doing so. Apparently the ones that were already in use were allowed to stay.

We will post any further info when Jack gets the time. He is attending the Highway Patrol Academy and has very little time to spend with the site right now.
