No, this is not "normal".
However, I went into the Admin panel and I was unable to look up your settings using your user name.
Not sure whats up.
Clear your browsers cookies and cache. If it still does not work, you may need to contact Lary or Jack on this one.

goto control panel, click internet options, the page that comes up should be the tab for general stuff. there will be buttons labled, delete cookies, delete files, clear history. click the three of them and then give it a go. what browser are you using? and I assumed you are runnin windows.

Yep, Window's XP with internet explorer.

the history one is the one that tends to clear the cache, there should be a setting there to keep stuff for a set number of days, if you are on a high speed connection you can set that to one day or less as you are not bound by the slow dial up chain, on the other hand if you are on dial up then leave it set to 14 days or so, that way when you go toa site that you visit often you are only loading the more recent info, the core is saved ad filled in with the new stuff. so hit all 3 of those buttons and then give it a try. seeing you yhave intenet explorer you should have a good spyware remover tool, IE is a favorite target for spyware and that junk can paralize you slow but sure. Lavasoft makes a good free tool for removal and protection called ad aware.

This has been an issue with 3.0x for some time. Always ran into this problem on my site. Nice thing about 3.5 is the forums are no longer cookie based, and the threads you read are tracked by the database. Once you read it, it's immediately marked as read until a new post is added.
