account issue

i am having an issue w/ my account and i hope that someone here may be able to help me out. i deployed and now when i try to access the forum from my old laptop i get the error message stating that my ip adress has been banned. i recently bought a new laptop and i now have a new ip address and it says the same thing. i know its not an ip address issue or a mac address issue but i know there is something going on to not allow me to long on from the room. any help would be greatly appreciated since i can't view the pics from my computer at work.

It has to be something at your end, perhaps a fire wall of some kind check with the Administrator of your account there.

Or, we have banned that IP from someone that had that prefix before...

I'll say something to Jack...

No we already looked into it and it is not a banned IP, something is happening on a different level.

I'm at a loss other than to say clear your cache, history and cookies.. restart your browser and try again.

this even happened on a brand new laptop, so i don't think it has anything to do w/ the cache in the browser. i've even tried different broswers (firefox and safari) and i can access other forum's w/ no issue so i don't think its a firewall issue. i can try another a friend's laptop to see if for some odd reason it allows access.

does the same thing even on a friends laptop. i don't think its the firewall because to the best of my knowledge its not filtering anything out.

Again, I don't know what to tell you. The IP that was sent to me is not in the banned list, and your account isn't either. Are you going through a proxy server?

i think we may be going through a proxy but i can't get a hold of the admins for that network. so i guess i'll just have to deal w/ it for the deployment. thanks for your help though.

The network gurus on our AF base blocked login access to this site for awhile a year ago.
