Painting Gauge Needles ??
I recently had access to the factory gauge needles in the son's truck.
They were faded to a pale yellowish-orange.
The wife used a small brush and Flourescent-Orange paint, making the needles good as new.
My question is:
Can I gain access to the needles of my various aftermarket gauges, in order to re-paint them, without doing damage to the gauges ??
I have a duke's mixture of brands and types, such as Stewart Warner, Isspro, VDO, AutoMeter, and the like.
It would sure be nice to have nice bright Flourescent-Orange needles on them, also.
Thanks.

I tried getting to the one on my autometer ultralite to no avail. The isspros look as if they may, but Im not sure. Trial and error perhaps...Ive got a couple gauges sitting around, Ill try it and see.
