Getting a little bit done in the evenings here, rigged up a new dust boot for the NV4500 shifter, finished the gauge mounting plate and got the wiper motors modded and fitting. Enough talk! On with the pictures...

I like it. It has a sort of so no nonsense vintage look.

It will be just to seal the shifter stub. My wife is going to make me a leather shifter boot to go over top of this

Well life has been busy and haven't had much time in the last month to make any progress but still squeezed a few small things in. Also picked up the epoxy paint and primer. Fit the Vintage air unit in, made some wooden shifter ***** and my daughter and I made a steering column support. Console cup holders also arrived

Well, I thought you passed on.....

Nice / fantastic work as always. Love the custom stuff.

Decide what you're doing paint / finish on the truck ? Gonna leave it Amercian Pickers old and rusty ? Or a nice clean finished look.

THought of you the other day when I saw this. Man, I wish I had the room and cash.....

I'd be joining the "cummins conversion" crew....

lol.

Going with the metallic red color below and black on the fenders and running boards. It has to much new metal to have the patina look going for it.

That wrecker is super cool, be pretty neat to upgrade it with a wheel lift for grabbing the new stuff

My boys and I have been working on the box the last few weekends, stripped the old one down then started working on the front and sides again. Took the cab for soda/sand blasting then a coat of epoxy primer
