Looking at that lower rad hose connection, I can't say I've seen that before. Is that because that is a Non-AC motor, or was it originally an industrial motor.

its something someone has fabbed up, it will work well for this application, the motor appears to be from a 1992 dodge truck

Haven't had much time to work on this but did get the fuel tank and box off.

Got some questions for those in the know regarding nv4500 swaps. Which engine adapter plate should I use? I bought a new 2nd Gen starter, do I need a spacer?

i plan on using the nv4500 bell housing with the 13" getrag clutch

You want a 2nd gen adapter plate to go with that new 2nd gen starter to bolt to that NV-4500.
How do you like that Bend Pak lift? Is that the 10,000# model?

thank you, I will pull the adapter plate off the trans donor truck too. Do I need a spacer for the starter? I keep reading something about that

I really like the lift, I use it a lot more then I thought I would. It's very well built and works well. The only small thing I don't like is when the arms are extended all the way with a 1ton diesel on the lift they have a bit of bow to them. Just looks bad but it's just a aesthetics thing.

Yes its a 10000lb model, here's a link to it:

At least with the 2nd gen conversion to the 13" clutch you need the spacer.

I don't know how the Getrag 13" setup works, you should be able to easily measure from the flywheel flange to the starter ring gear on both and it should be fairly obvious if you need it or not.

i know with 2nd gen adapter/starter and nv4500 clutch(12 1/4"), you do not need a spacer. with 2nd gen adapter/starter and nv5600(13") clutch, you need the spacer. unsure on 2nd gen adapter/starter and a getrag clutch.

if you do need the spacer, i've got a spare from southbend.

Removed the differentials and put the frame on the rotisserie, now I can get busy on grinding, grinding and more grinding. Lots of welding to do after that

yes it sure does, spent all day cutting out welds and grinding out a bunch more. Some welds aren't bad though...

even just cut out it looks better

DON"T LET HIM DO IT !

I hear that he went up to Alaska, and now people from there are missing !!

The Donner party was scared to have him stay with them, I'm sure you will be too ! You know them people from Florida. They're all serial killers, cause that state breeds psycho serial killers who love to live in workshops, drink all your beer, coffee, and eat all your pizza. Once you stop feeding them and giving them beer and coffee, they kill you, and move on to their next beer, coffee, and pizza victim....

After a really big BBQ, that is....
